Professional practice + constructionSMB ~10 million euro

The ERP showed the invoices. What was collected stayed invisible.

It's not revenue you're missing: it's knowing how much of that revenue actually reached the bank.

The house that was burning

An efficient ERP, showing the wrong number.

The client runs two companies under the same roof — a professional practice and a construction firm — for a combined revenue of about 10 million euro. With two companies, several bank accounts and several job sites, money coming in and going out was scattered across channels that never talked to each other.

The ERP only showed invoices issued, not what was actually collected in the bank. To know that, someone had to match every bank transfer against its invoice by hand — a full day of work every month. With no time to do it, the check kept getting postponed, and roughly 60,000-70,000 euro stayed permanently stuck in receivables that were never collected.

On the left, what the ERP could show: only what was issued. On the right, the question the owner had to answer every month, by hand. No one had ever built the bridge between the two.

Why it stayed unresolved

The problem wasn't the clients. It was visibility.

The ERP, home banking and the accountant each knew one piece of the truth: one knew the invoices issued, one the bank movements, one the books — but late, after the fact. None of the three, on its own, said how much was really in the bank. Joining the pieces meant reconciling by hand, line by line, every transfer against the right invoice: a full day of work every month that the owner never had time to finish. So the check kept slipping, and overdue receivables sat there — not because clients wouldn't pay, but because no one was chasing them.

What we built

The Brainiac system, built by Morfeus Hub, to reconcile automatically.

A single screen, readable from the phone, connects both companies' bank accounts directly to the invoicing system. The software runs the reconciliation automatically, matching every bank transfer against its invoice and updating payment status in real time.

01
Aging receivables

Invoices overdue by 30, 60 or more than 90 days stand out immediately, instead of staying hidden among the rest.

02
Cash flow direction

The system shows whether the current month is filling or draining the account.

03
Runway estimate

Shows for how many days the company can cover its outflows with current cash, with no new inflows.

The result

Reconciliation, from a full day a month to zero minutes.

The owner no longer has to spend half a day at month-end checking the accounts: the system immediately shows which clients are late, and reminders go out in seconds, from the phone.

“Before, I'd look at the ERP and only see invoices issued, but the money was missing from the account because open invoices were never chased. With this system I read the real collected amount on my phone, in real time. In the first quarter alone we recovered €65,000 in overdue receivables and cut collection times by 18 days.”

In one line

It's not revenue you're missing: it's knowing how much of it is actually collected.

How much is stuck, right now, in receivables a simple chase would unlock? The ROIometer puts it in euros.
